Why choose an Accredited Specialist?

The Specialist Accreditation Scheme of the Law Society of New South Wales confers on suitably capable and qualified solicitors in a particular area of law the distinction of being an accredited specialist.

Accredited Specialists Lawyers must practice in their specialty area for at least 25% of their work.  They have to pass rigorous assessments and have a detailed knowledge of the law.  An Accredited Specialist must annually renew a Certificate to practice the law and update his or her skills and knowledge at the specialist level.  The standard for accreditation is defined as the ability to work at the level of an experienced practitioner in complex matters.

The Law Society of NSW - Accredited Specialist

Lucille Lees is a NSW Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estate Law and in Family Law.  These two accreditations are very different.

An Accredited Specialist demonstrates professional responsibility.  As an Accredited Lawyer, The Law Society advertises that if your lawyer is accredited you know you are in safe hands.
